Zune Delayed Until 2009 in UK

Microsoft’s has not only announced that they will be releasing a plethora of new accessories but that they will be working with 23 additional manufactures’ to ensure the largest possible variety of garnishes for the Zune.

Just in time too, because later this month the second generation of the Zune will hit stores and the web. And, it promises to be a interesting ride this time around since MS also has revamped the Zune to be a Sleeker, more stylish media player, this time around.

In a somewhat sad turn of events it appears as though Microsoft has delayed the release of the Zune until next year in the United Kingdom. Zune aficionado's can still order a Zune from the US or Canada, of course, but it would have been nice if they could have purchased one from home. With all the success the Xbox has had in Europe, I'm sure many over on that side of the pound have been looking forward to Zune in it's interactive properties especially with relation to Xbox 360. I guess they'll just have to wait a little longer or perhaps they may choose to take the direct or indirect route of buying one on eBay or Amazon.com.
