If you visit this page you’ll see that Walmart.com has a full page ad announcing that their online store will allow you to “Get Zune at Walmart.com as soon as it is released”.

They write: Let your inner DJ run wild with Zune, a 30 GB digital media player with a twist. Wirelessly share full-length sample tracks, playlists, pictures or home-grown tracks directly from Zune to Zune; listen to full-length songs you receive up to three times in three days, flag the ones you like and buy them the next time you sync up; discover new music in the Zune Marketplace; and show off your favorite pictures and videos on the big, bright screen. And if that weren't enough, Zune comes with a built-in FM tuner, too.

And, include most of the information on Zune that Microsoft posted here from their press kit. No information was given concerning what price the Zune might be offered at nor do they indicate whether or not they will carry the Zune physically at their brick and mortar stores but each Zune Color has been given their own product page White , Brown and Black .

This can only be considered a positive for proponents of Zune, as Walmart’s participation can open up availability to a mass audience, including those whom are not considered to be too tech savvy.
