I was just wondering why it takes Microsoft so long to get new versions of their Zune Software out. Anywhere from 5 to 8 months seems to be the parameter but why? Updates need to be made quickly, there are many great things about the Zune but the updates make them so much better. With 2.5 we can see this, with such improvements as Gap-less Playback and Browse by Genre the Zune has moved up, way up for even the most advanced Zune users. So, once again I ask why take 6 months and make a dozen improvements when this can and should be done incrementally?
