Apple, maker of the iPod has had some interesting battles with retailers since it was introduced by CEO Steve Jobs on October 23, 2001, in fact, there probably would not be any Apple stores targeting highly competitive markets without these rifts. Lawsuits have been brought up by many brick and mortar distributors who claim that Apple has entered into their marketplace with the intentions of exploiting or destroying others for their own gain.
