With the recent news that Zune has increased it's market share by 33% up from 3% to 4% of the market, I ask what percentage will it take for Microsoft's little player that could to be considered a winner? It's impossible for me to think that Zune will linger much longer at this lower level, why? Because last year I didn't see places like Best Buy advertising Zune right along side iPod like I did this week. Take a look at this: [More after the jump]
Don't get me wrong I'm not just simply suggesting that because it's advertised in Best Buy's weekly ad that it's all of a sudden going to sky rocket in sale but this is something I didn't see last year or even over this past Holiday season when Zune saw the majority of it's sales. And, this is something I keep seeing more and more of, Zune ads in Wal-mart's weekly, then in Target stores and now the biggie, Best Buy. But, what most interests me is how it's depicted right alongside the iPods, giving it equal time with it's Dinosaur rivel. This is truly a sign of things to come...
